Footwear for Marching Art Rehearsals

All members (i.e., Marching Band, Indoor Drumline, and Color Guard) should wear proper footwear during all marching ensemble rehearsals. Please adhere to the following rehearsal footwear requirements:

• YES wear a quality running shoe (e.g., Nike running shoe, Adidas running shoe, Saucony running shoe, Brooks running shoe, etc.)

• YES choose a running shoe with sufficient arch support

• YES have a backup pair

• YES replace your rehearsal shoes when sufficient support has worn down

• NO Vans

• NO Keds

• NO Converse Chuck Taylors

• NO athletic sandals

• NO sandals of any kind

• NO open-toed shoes

• NO basketball shoes

• NO indoor soccer shoes

• NO lifting shoes

• NO boots

• NO fashion shoes

• NO dress shoes

• NO to ANYTHING other than a QUALITY RUNNING SHOE WITH ARCH SUPPORT
