LB 2024-25 Budget is now available

The proposed Lambert Bands budget for the 2024-25 school year is now available for your review. The consolidated the fees and payment schedule can be found in the "Payment Schedule" tab.


*Please provide your feedback by July 26th

The Boosters will vote on accepting the budget during the General Booster Meeting on July 29th at 7:30 PM. Don't forget to include any comments/questions you might have.



Marching Band - Band Camp starts on July 15

Camp, rehearsals and performances, are mandatory for anyone participating in the program. Extended hours 9 AM - 9 PM on Wednesday, July 17 and Thursday, July 18


By Monday, July 15 students should be able to perform:

  1. Fundamentals Packet

  2. Show Music Part 1

  3. Show Music Part 2

  4. Show Music Part 3 - coming soon

  5. Show Music Part 4 -  - New!

  6. Fight Song - currently being edited/updated

  7. Star Spangled Banner

  8. Alma Mater


If you have questions about which part to play, ask your section leaders. They should know based on the recent edits (e.g., everyone plays the first part for these measures, etc.).


Don't forget, all students should have:

  • Athletic tennis shoes/with athletic socks 

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Water jug (1 gallon preferred)


*Winds students:

  • Korg TM-60

  • Tuner Clip

  • Tonal Energy App for phone or tablet (link is to desktop site but you can find the mobile app through site)


*Brass Specific:

  • BERP (for trumpets and mellophones only)

  • BERP (Trombone/Baritone Large Shank)

Band App

Everyone in the marching band should be a part of the following groups:


Calendars

- MAIN - Lambert Bands: General events and LASSO-related meetings

- LMB Marching Band: Band Camp, Marching Band rehearsals, Color Guard rehearsals, Drumline rehearsals, football games, and Marching Band competitions

- LWE Wind Ensemble: Wind Ensemble rehearsals and distant performances such as those in Athens, Indianapolis, etc.

 

Office Hours for Instrument Check-Out:

To check out an instrument for summer practice:     

  • Monday, June 17: 9 AM - 12 PM

  • Tuesday, June 18: 9 AM - 12 PM


Every wind and percussion student should know all 12 major scales to at least the GMEA standard. Let's get to work!
