The Road To Indianapolis: The Journey To Grand Nationals 2026

A Historic Milestone For Lambert Bands

Donate

Following our history-making 2025 season, where Lambert High School became the first-ever Forsyth County school to be crowned a Bands of America (BOA) Regional Champion, the Lambert Marching Band is setting its sights on the ultimate stage.

In November 2026, the Lambert High School Marching Band will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the Music for All’s Bands of America Grand National Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium. This is not just a competition; it is a showcase of the premier high school marching ensembles in the United States with more than 100 high school marching band programs from across the country estimated to participate.

A Regional Championship Was Just the Beginning

"Winning the 2025 BOA Chattanooga Regional Championship was a watershed moment for our students, but it is truly just the beginning.

The 2025-2026 band season proved that the Lambert Marching Band belongs among the elite marching band programs in the country.

As we prepare for the largest marching band competition in the world at Grand Nationals in Indianapolis this November, our goal remains the same: to build better people by giving our students life-changing experiences they earn through their own hard work.

We are incredibly grateful for the community and support that makes this journey possible," said Kevin Morrison, Director of Band at Lambert High School.

Our award-winning program, “Santulan”, from the 2025–2026 season

Lambert is only the 2nd Forsyth County school to attend Grand Nationals and for most of these students this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform on a national stage.

Representing Georgia on this stage reflects the elite status of our program and the tireless dedication of our student-musicians.

Now we need help getting there!

The Challenge: A $200,000 Undertaking

Reaching the pinnacle of the marching arts is an immense undertaking that requires a significant financial commitment.

To craft a show, prepare and transport an ensemble of our size, the projected cost for this trip is approximately $200,000.

This budget covers the complex logistics of a multi-day national tour, including:

  • Transportation & Logistics: Chartering buses for over a hundred and fifty students, staff, and volunteers.

  • Equipment & Logistics: Transporting our fleet of instruments and show props across state lines.

  • Instruction & Preparation: Funding the specialized professional clinicians and designers who help our students refine their performance to a world-class standard.

  • Member Support: Ensuring every student has the housing and resources needed to perform at their peak in a professional domed stadium.

Why Your Sponsorship is
Paramount

By supporting Lambert Bands you are doing much more than funding a trip. You are providing the resources necessary for these students to compete on a world stage and represent our community with the excellence that has become our hallmark.

Your sponsorship directly offsets these significant expenses, from the maintenance of high-end equipment to the logistical demands of a national championship run. We invite our local business leaders and community members to partner with us in this journey.
