Director of Bands
Kevin Morrison
Since joining the Lambert community in 2021, Mr. Morrison's ensembles have received critical acclaim, most notably receiving invitations to perform at the 77th Midwest Clinic, the Music for All Southeastern Concert Festival, the 2025 Music for All National Concert Band Festival, and the Georgia Music Educators Association In-service Conference. The Lambert Marching Band has received multiple high honor recognitions, including three Bands of America Regional Finals performances, numerous Bands of America Regional Class Championships, and an invitation to the London New Year's Day Parade. Overall, enrollment in the Lambert Bands has increased by nearly 40% during Mr. Morrison's tenure with the program. Mr. Morrison is also the winds coordinator for the GMEA All State High School Orchestras. Mr. Morrison was also recently selected to the Yamaha "40 under 40" list for Music Educator Excellence. In addition to his work with the Lambert Bands, Mr. Morrison served as the Visual Caption Supervisor for the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps from 2019-2024. He has also worked with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps. He has been a featured clinician and teacher leader for the Music for All Summer Symposium as well as the Music for All Teach Music Experience. Mr, Morrison is also a marching band designer and is a clinician for marching and concert ensembles around the country. Mr. Morrison completed his undergraduate studies in K-12 instrumental music at Auburn University and later earned his Masters in Music Education from the University of South Florida. He also holds a professional certificate in composition and orchestration for television and film from Berklee College of Music.

Associate Director of Bands
Dr. Jonathan Buchholz
Prior to his appointment as Associate Director of Bands at Lambert High School, Jon Buchholz completed his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at The University of Alabama in 2024. During the pursuit of his terminal degree, Dr. Buchholz taught at both The University of Alabama and University of West Alabama, including students in music education, performance, theory, and composition in both undergraduate and graduate areas. Before his doctoral studies, Dr. Buchholz taught for three years in Georgia. During his master's degree at the University of West Georgia, he was the Concert Band Director at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, GA. In his position at Carrollton High School, he instructed students from grades five through twelve, as well as the Trojan Marching Band. Following Carrollton High School, Dr. Buchholz served as Director of Bands at Manchester High School, as well as Manchester Middle School in Manchester, GA. In addition to being an educator, Dr. Buchholz is also an active conductor and arranger. He has conducted and performed world premieres of nearly a dozen original works for wind ensemble and various chamber ensembles, including Katahj Copley's Euphonium Concerto, Canvases, which was written for Dr. Buchholz. As an arranger, he has had numerous works premiered, with his most recent piece, Granti Partita, being performed by the University of Northern Colorado under the baton of Dr. David Jones.

Percussion Director
Paul McCrea
Paul McCrea is an aspiring Music Educator and Percussion Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (BME) from the Bower School of Music & the Arts at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Certified to teach Music (P-12) in the State of Georgia, Paul has studied under respected educators including Dr. Patricia Gingras, Professor Troy Jones, and Dr. Timothy Yontz. During his time at FGCU, Paul served as Principal Percussionist for the Wind Orchestra and performed with the Bower School of Music Honors Percussion Quartet and various chamber ensembles. His performance career extends into the Marching Arts, having performed with world-class ensembles such as the Boston Crusaders and Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps (DCI), as well as Infinity Percussion (WGI). Leadership roles include serving as a Drumline Section Leader at Spirit of Atlanta and as Tenor Section Leader and Ensemble Leader during his age-out season with Infinity Percussion in 2025. In 2022, Paul also had the honor of performing with the Boston Crusaders at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Indianapolis. As an educator, Paul brings a wealth of hands-on experience. He has taught private percussion lessons to high school and college students, both in-person and virtually, for over 5 years. His instructional experience includes teaching the drumline at North Fort Myers High School, serving as Associate Band Director and Percussion Coordinator for the Cape Coral High School Marching Band, and joining the 2024 and 2025 instructional staff of Spirit of Atlanta to teach the tenor drum section. Paul is also a dedicated member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the National Education Association (NEA).

Colorguard Director
Anna Steltenpohl
Anna Steltenpohl brings over a decade of elite performing arts experience to her role as Director of the Lambert High School Color Guard. Since joining the Lambert community in 2022, she has guided the program through a period of rapid growth. Under her leadership, the Lambert Guard has doubled in size, earned a silver medal at SAPA Championships, secured high Color Guard awards, and contributed to the marching band's BOA Regional Finalist and Class Champion recognition. A decorated performer at the highest levels of the activity, Anna has been a featured member of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, Paramount Winterguard, and the Georgia State University Panther Band, with appearances at the Tournament of Roses Parade, Super Bowl LIII halftime show, and WGI and DCI Finals. She currently performs with Paramount, the 2023 WGI World Class Champion and 2025 Silver Medalists. Her instructional experience spans multiple programs across Georgia, including leadership and choreographic roles at Woodward Academy, Centennial High School, and West Forsyth High School. In addition to her work at Lambert, she serves as the Lead Movement Technician for Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, where she designs and cleans movement-based choreography for the corps' nationally recognized color guard. While her roots are in world-class performance, Anna is passionate about translating that excellence into the teaching arena.She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an academic focus on human movement and physiology that directly informs her unique approach to training and conditioning in the marching arts.
