Eric Brown is in his twelfth year working with the Lambert Percussion program. In his time at Lambert, the drumline has been the WGI Percussion World Championships Scholastic A-Class Bronze Medalist, three-time GIPA Percussion Scholastic World Class Gold Medalists, and is a WGI World Championships Percussion Scholastic World Class Finalist. In addition to his work at Lambert, Mr. Brown maintains a private lesson studio, owns and operates a drum repair and restoration shop, and works closely with many other percussion programs in the North Georgia area.

 

Eric completed his undergraduate degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Georgia and received his master's degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Mr. Brown was a marching member of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and WGI World Class Finalist ensembles Pariah Indoor and Odyssey Percussion Theatre. 

 

Eric's past teaching credits include Forsyth Central High School, Young Harris College, the University of North Georgia, the University of Georgia, the University of Missouri, Odyssey Percussion Theatre, Gateway Indoor, Atlanta CV Drum and Bugle Corps, Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps.

 

Eric has been a member of the Percussive Arts Society since 2003 and proudly endorses Zildjian Cymbals, Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets, and Remo drumheads. He currently lives in Cumming, Georgia, with his wife Tonya Mashburn and their dogs Noodle and Bill.
